Fatal car crash shuts down Creston Road near Hwy. 41 for about 2 hours

The CHP has opened one lane of Creston Road for traffic control, according to its website, about two hours after a fatal crash.

A fatal car crash has shut down Creston Road in both directions, according to the CHP.
The crash happened about 4:50 p.m., according to the CHP’s incident page, and has shut down Creston Road in both directions for an unknown amount of time. According to a CHP dispatcher, the crash happened on Creston Road, one mile north of Highway 41, and was reported as involving only one car.
Traffic is being diverted off of Creston at Highway 41 and at Webster Road, according to the CHP’s incident page, and one person is being taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
